Hi everyone! I hope this is still on feed for you all! Trouble qualified in a stockdog trial last weekend with a 94 from the Advanced class on Ducks...now you're likely wondering "Ducks???"... well, yes, ducks require a lot of finesse and while she would rather work cows or sheep, all this duck work will help her in both those venues. She's entered on cattle in August and then again in September on both ducks and sheep. Our trial season wraps up in October up here and there's a possiblity that she might go to Missouri to the Working Kelpie Nationals to trial at Purina Farms - there is one day they offer an "all breed" trial as a fund raiser. We'll see.
I did hear from Cory in Seattle with Raine - the grey female puppy - she sounds delightful, very sociable, quick and eager to learn and nice looking. I'd love to hear how the rest of the puppies are coming along - and Pictures!!
